Stop Motion Animation of Falling

             In this post is my first stop motion. It was hard because I do not know what to do. First what I did was take a picture with an orange ball. In order to take a picture where I want  the ball at by put a lot of tape to hold the ball. Then I mark with pencil where I put the ball. After finish I put it into photoshop in every picture and made sure that the background is white. Then I put it in quicktime. When finish I covert it into .mov.

      This is my first shooting reference for physics123 class. After shooting I looked for the good throw in the video. Then I look for the lowest point, highest point, middle point, and when I finish I take it from the video and make it into a jepg and edit with photoshop.

Mini-Portfolio

      The first two picture I drew for 113B class. The video animation I drew frame by frame and background for 114 class.

       I am the oldest in my family. My parents are very strict. We speak chinese and its dangerous when me and my brother talk back to them. When I was little I was always jealous of my brother because he's the smartest. He can read one book less then two hrs and it would take me ten months to read a book or never finish. I only like books that has pictures in them. My parents they favored my little brother a lot because he is the smartest in the family. My family also thinks art is waste of time they think doctors are the future. I told myself that in the future I will prove them wrong because if we look around everything we see is art and its not waste of time. What I like to do in the future is become an animator for Pixar or Dreamworks. When I was little I love to draw and making comics and pretend I am selling them to people even though I was just selling it to myself.  I also love music. I sang in choir in high school. I also play violin for 9 years. I took private lessons when I was nine years old. I wish I can continue music but because my hearing lost I could not really continue. All my life I had a hard time learning because of my disability. Before I hit College I did not learn anything because the teacher did not teach or believe there students can learn. I wanted to prove them wrong about not believing and also I can make it to college and not just work in super market. I know its going to be difficult but I believe I can go to a college and graduate. I like meaningful movies. I really like the movie called rise of the planet of the apes which recently came out. It felt like you can relate to the movie. Especially the part where he said goodbye to the monkey. It reminds me of my dad and mom felt sad that they can not see me and my little brother much anymore because of school and we live far from my parent. Also I live with my fiancee. We being dating since high school and we dated seven years before engaged and we being engaged about one year. We plan to get marry after school and get a job to save up for the wedding. I hope one day in the future my idea and dreams comes to life on a paper and into the theater and my parent, my little brother, fiancee or wife, and those who supported me would be there watching =).
